Last Friday our Troop meeting was hosted by Cotsworld in Cambridge.  The staff shared some great camping and hiking stories with us.  The Scouts learned that it is important to get the right kit for different events e.g. light-weight expeditions, Winter Camp, survival camp or a very long hike 🙂

The items discussed included rucksacks, roll mats, dry bags, light and tiny mats, hiking shoes, 4 seasons sleeping bags, tents, stoves …

Note: Scouts get a discount if they bring their neckers to Cotswold
