This week has seen the 14th Beavers and Cubs celebrate Chinese New Year by making traditional Chinese lanterns, learning Chinese calligraphy and zodiacs, trying Chinese New Year pudding and sweets etc. They even got a red pocket to take home, as a symbol of blessing from the Leaders!

14th Cubs learned the very useful ’round turn and two half hitches’ this evening and used it to make a stretcher.
14th Cubs enjoyed a weekend full of activities in Lode (CAW100), celebrating 100 years of Cub Scouting. Climbing, archery, javelin, crafts, disco are just a few of the numerous activities they got to try out! Brilliant fun. Well done Cubs and all Leaders!
