Scouts create nutritious meal with donated food

As part of the Global Challenge Award, the 14th Scouts kicked off December helping those in need of a good meal. Working under the direction of volunteers at FoodCycle Cambridge they did a brilliant job preparing and serving a 3-course meal to people in need at St Pauls Church last Saturday.

FoodCycle aims to use fruit and vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away by local shops and farmers markets. Using donated ingredients they create healthy and nutritious meals for the community every Saturday at St Paul’s Church on Hills Rd.
