Scouts – First Aid Training Camp 2017

Posted on Posted in News, Program

The 14th Scouts went to Copley Scouting Centre on March 24-26 for a weekend of first aid training. Apart from first aid, we had lots of fun with the rope bridge we built, backwoods cooking, whittlting, wide games (capture the flag), shelter building, toasting marshmallows at the campfire and etc.

All Scouts passed a theory test and practical assessment at the end of the camp and earned a emergency aid staged badge. Most achieved the highest level (level 5) which is almost as difficult as a standard adult full first aid course so very well done to all our Scouts!

Massive thanks to all parents and Leaders who supported the event and made the camp possible!
